It's life changing - literally!

Bought this for my mom, who has macular degeneration (she's pretty blind) and profound memory issues. Since she can't remember the numbers of her favorite channels, and there are more than 100 available to her, a remote that didn't allow for preset favorites was useless to her, as she couldn't scroll through that many and find hers. This remote was the only one I could find that had a minimum of buttons, and also allowed for the preset channel list. The buttons are also large and well spaced, so she doesn't accidentally push two at once, and brightly colored - which also helps. The slide-open programming keypad is a brilliant design. I was praying that it would be compatible with her cable box, and it was. The programming instructions are clear and thorough. Television programming is all my mom has left to interest her in life, and she was terribly depressed because she could no longer get what she wanted on TV. This amazingly well thought out remote changed all that, and she is now animated, happy, and excited to tell me all about whatever interesting show she watched that day. It has been life-changing for her. Kudos, and thank you!
