The AlertMaster® AMAX™ Audio Monitor by Clarity® is a signaling transmitter that alerts to the sound of a smoke alarm or other audio alerts in the home. It becomes activated after 15 seconds of continuous sound and is an ideal solution for those with a moderate-to-severe hearing loss. This audio transmitter does not alert to T3 smoke or T4 C/O alarms. T3 alarms have a repeating beep-beep-beep-pause sound pattern. T4 alarms have a repeating beep-beep-beep-beep-pause sound pattern.
Features:
- Alerts after 15 seconds of continuous sound - does not work with temporal sound detectors
- Uses one 9V battery (included)
- AlertMaster system receiver required
- Works with continuous sound detectors - does not alert to T3 (3 beeps pause 3 beeps) smoke alarms which includes any alarm made after 1996 or T4 (4 beeps pause 4 beeps) C/O alarms
