The BeHear ACCESS is a personalized hearing amplifier that combines the functionality of an advanced digital hearing aid, Bluetooth stereo headset, and assistive listening device.
The BeHear ACCESS is a personal hearing device that looks and functions like a Bluetooth® stereo headset, but includes fully customizable hearing amplification and noise reduction.
It has a built-in hearing assessment which is simple to self-administer through a free app and works with both iOS and Android Smartphones. With the assessment results, the ACCESS will automatically generate personalized hearing profiles to suit your hearing level and for a variety of hearing environments. Using a simple procedure you can also fine-tune these profiles in real time which will ensure an enhanced hearing experience. With BeHear Listenthrough™ a smart algorithm allows important sounds through to your ears so you will stay safe and alert outside when listening to streamed audio. It also clarifies speech and with BeHear’s EasyListen technology, speech can be slowed down to improve intelligibility of “fast talkers”, recorded voice messages and foreign languages. In addition, the headset has two telecoil receivers which deliver optimal sound in locations outfitted with induction loop technology.
And last but not least, if you pair the Hearlink™ TV transmitter to your BeHear ACCESS, the transmitter will send your televisions audio signal to the headset to eliminate ambient noises and room reverberation which hampers understanding of speech.
